2. General
As a rule, our website can be used without providing personal data. Where personal data (for example name, address or email addresses) is collected on our pages, this is always done on a voluntary basis as far as possible. This data is not passed on to third parties without your express consent.
We point out that the transmission of data over the internet (e.g. when communicating by email) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
3. Server log files
When our website is called up, our hosting provider automatically stores information in what are known as server log files (e.g. browser type and version, the operating system used, the referrer URL, the time of the request and, in shortened/anonymised form, the IP address). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technically faultless and secure operation of the website).
4. Contact forms and contact by email
If you contact us through the general contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (name, optionally company or business, email address, optionally phone number and your message) in order to answer your enquiry.
If you use the enquiry form for prospective customers, we also process the details of your business (name and address of the business, name of the owner, number of tables indoors and outside, contact email address and/or phone number, and any optional remarks) in order to prepare a suitable quote for you. You can optionally upload photos or a PDF of your current menu there. These files are transmitted to us as an attachment to the enquiry email.
Every enquiry is also stored on the web server in a directory that cannot be reached publicly, so that it is not lost if sending the email should fail. This backup copy is deleted automatically: enquiries that were sent successfully after 60 days, enquiries whose sending failed after one year at the latest – sooner, as soon as they have been dealt with.
The legal basis in each case is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract, or performance of a contract) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in dealing with enquiries). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for dealing with the matter and no statutory retention obligations stand in the way.
5. Bot protection: Cloudflare Turnstile
To protect the forms, this website uses Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Technical information from your browser is transmitted to Cloudflare in order to tell bots and human users apart. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in protection against misuse).
6. Web analytics with Google Analytics
Where you have given your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics uses cookies or comparable technologies to analyse how the website is used. The IP address is processed in anonymised form. A transfer of data to the USA cannot be ruled out. The legal basis is your consent alone under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR in conjunction with § 25 (1) TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act). Without consent, no analytics cookies are set and no statistical data is collected (Google Consent Mode, “denied” by default). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by deleting this website's cookies.
7. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and a right to object (Art. 21 GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. To exercise your rights, a message to [email protected] is enough.
8. Objection to advertising
We hereby expressly object to the use by third parties of contact data published as part of the legal notice obligation for sending advertising and information material that has not been expressly requested. The operators of these pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising material being sent, for example by spam email.
